How many puzzle pieces should my child be doing at their age?
As a general guide: around 2 years old, 3–10 large "jumbo knob" pieces is a good start; by 2½–3 years, 12–24 piece puzzles with large interlocking pieces; by 4 years, 20–40 pieces; and from 5+ years, 48–60+ piece puzzles add more challenge. These are rough ranges — go by your child's current comfort level rather than strictly by age.
