Ride on Cars in Sri Lanka

A variety of push-type ride-on cars for your child, with multiple sizes and options including turning handles and guard rails, to help you select the perfect ride-on for your little one's stage. Different from our rechargeable electric ride-ons — these are foot-powered or parent-pushed.

Frequently Asked Questions — Ride on Cars

What age are push-type ride-on cars suitable for?
These are usually a child's very first ride-on, suited to roughly 1–3 years old — young toddlers just learning to walk, who push along with their feet or are guided by a parent handle rather than pedalling.
How is this different from a pedal car or our rechargeable electric ride-ons?
Push-type ride-ons rely purely on your toddler's own feet (or a parent pushing via the handle) with no pedals or battery involved — the simplest, earliest stage. Pedal cars come next, generally from around age 3 once a child has the coordination to pedal a chain-driven mechanism themselves. Battery-powered ride-ons (see our Rechargeable Electric Cars, Jeeps & Motorbikes range) are a separate category entirely, offering actual motorised movement rather than foot power.
What's the parent handle for, and when do I remove it?
The handle lets you steer and push the car while your toddler is still building walking confidence and steering skill. Most parents remove the handle (and sometimes a footplate insert) once their child is confidently pushing and steering the car themselves, letting them take full independent control.
What should I check for stability and safety features?
Look for a low centre of gravity and a wide wheelbase, which resist tipping far better than a tall, narrow design, plus any guard rails included to help contain a wobbly first-time rider.
Do you deliver islandwide, and is assembly required?
Yes, we deliver islandwide within 1–5 days. Most models need minimal assembly — check the specific product listing for details.
