What age are foam dart blasters suitable for?
Most NERF-style blasters are labelled from around 6–8 years, with higher-power models rated 14+ — the recommendation reflects power and complexity, and younger children may not yet have the judgement to follow basic safe-play rules, so it's worth going by the box rating rather than just general age.
What's the difference between the blaster types you carry?
Manual/spring-action blasters need to be cocked or pumped before each shot, water guns work on a similar pump or trigger-tank mechanism, and battery-operated blasters (some with light/sound effects) fire automatically or semi-automatically at a button press — generally suited to slightly older kids given the added power and complexity.
Are foam darts safe?
Official NERF-brand darts are designed with soft, rounded tips specifically to reduce impact, and are generally considered safe for supervised, appropriate-age play. It's a good habit to keep play aimed below the face and to use only official darts rather than off-brand ones, since third-party darts sometimes use harder tips.
